New beginning .New you

The Sun 2022 was setting on the horizon, glancing at me He said ,

Tomorrow when I rise, 

bringing New Hope, New Dawn .You too rise, 

making ,, new resolutions, but be wise. 

Your past 2022, was fine, all the year there was wine and dine.

But what did you do for mankind?

Open your chest of resolutions,

ponder over reflections. 

The mirror never lies. 

......I shall alight on my chariot,

spread my brilliance every where,

but do you deserve such glittering,

for man has never fulfilled 

his promised utterance. 

I began to introspect,

did I keep my promises, or just let go ,

Yes I had a wonderful year,

but to some extent, service to mankind was little lacking, I fear. 

Our eco system is on the rock,

what was my contributions , for damage to block? 

I knew, what was in stock. 

Today I made those resolutions,

by which I could abide, 

bring in my stride,

Hail O,' New Dawn of 2023. 

Give me strength to strive ,

do my best, instead of playing dice, making false resolutions.
