The Sky
The Sky

The celestial theatre's shimmering curtain,
Hiding behind it facets unknown.
The colossal stage for cosmic spheres,
The sun, the moon, the wanderers.
The dancefloor for the strutting stars,
To showcase their brilliant moves.
Home to the gods, the ensemble,
Looking down this very instance.
The sky, no beginning nor an end,
Limitless, boundless.
Like my ambition, my pride, my greed,
Turning me ruthless.
The sky, encompassing and enveloping,
Like a warm blanket reassuring.
I wish a similar assemble of patience,
Of grit, labour and endurance.
