Never Too Late For Love Poems
Never Too Late For Love Poems
It's never too late for love poems, even though our bones grow weak
Our prime is beyond us, yet we age like fine wine, the warmth we seek
Well time has passed, your songs don't seem like a lark
Yet indelible impressions on each other, we've left our mark
Yet in this alone but beautiful night I seek you my sweetheart
Been a while I've called you that, been a while a fire we start
No the things we called each other, aren't anymore to be adored
Yet in little pieces of my brain, memories of us we've stored
And storms come and they rage on like a horrendous gale
Famines my brain chills my heart and the feelings wane
Or do they?.. As I look at you at all that you are
I am but a child, jolly eyes smile cause you're my star
Yes I said we're past the cuteness and the formal things
But freedom so liberating and it gives you the wings
To fly to soar, yet want to be chained things together we'd do
With half sleepy eyes here's my serenage cause I love you too..
