Naive
Naive
I was naive,
Wanted to grow up,
Unknown to the truth of this world.
All the wrongs done,
The pain caused,
And the sufferings,
And the loss,
Not knowing it was all just a setup.
Living in my own bubble of happiness,
I was contempt with how I was.
Had I known it all,
I would have created a wall.
Alas! I made a mistake and then some more,
Made wrong choices,
And my bubble was no more,
My wish of growing up led to my fall.
And here I am,
All grown up and mature,
Wishing for a way back,
Some type of cure.
Had I known it all,
I would still be me,
Safe in my bubble,
Naive but free.
