My Universe

Day and night we compare with sun and moon,

Not one my son but hundreds you see,

Planets were twelve, then nine, now eight,

Along with several dwarf ones we can't see,

We knew only Earth to have a life once,

But also Titan, the largest moon of Saturn for rivers, lakes, and seas,

With Mars still having a possibility of life,

This slowest, red planet may have discoveries to yield,

Home to oceans and lifeforms,

Composed of an iron core, Ganymede to have a magnetic field,

Mimas they say it's a death star of Saturn,

Still a mystery of this frozen solid.

Supernova, nebula, sun, moon, planets, asteroids,

Makes us wonder it's not a small world,

The irresistible companionship amongst the terrestrial bodies,

I wish to have my own telescopic world,

A lot already discovered, a lot still remains to be,

Beyond our mother Earth, why can't we see,

My interest in astrology drove me to this,

That now I always talk about the Universe while having my tea.
