If children knew the world

If children knew the world

If children knew the world,

the normality would have been absurd.

Everyone would have been born cunning,

and with time, the shrewdness increasing.

There would have been no midnight cry

because the experienced turns their tears dry.

No fatherly plannings, no motherly rearings.

Even no excited adolescent flyings.

The world would have lost the traces of innocence

because whenever they began, they had experience.

Cracking bondages and shattering unity.

And hence, absolute lack of authenticity.

The tiny brains would have devised miseries

and had no wish to have dearies.

Oh! The throb of my heart halts

to think about the probable limitless assaults.

Thank God the children aren't aware of the world

that will disparage them when they'll turn adult.
