My Perfect Dream
My Perfect Dream
Looking at you I was lost
That light and sparkle had blinded my vision
You were fresh as the first ray of light early morning
You had me rested upon your lap,
I curled up like a newly morphed cocoon
Yet to develop into a mature butterfly.
Your fingers through my hair strands gave the most soothing feeling I had felt,
That chill breeze of air from your mouth was divine.
I was lost in the dreams, where I hold your hand.
We walked through the gate of white Lillie's,
My Black tux and your white gown,
Our Mustang laid by the pavement laden with roses.
Ready to enter into our world of happiness.
Baby? Where are you? Please come back...
I woke up with a jerk, as if my soul was still stuck in the dream.
Another night with those inceptions,
Your hand, my heart and all my broken pieces of memories...
