My Pen Pal
My Pen Pal

All say that any relation,
Big or small,
Cannot survive long distance
Sorry but,
I would say that I disagree.
Friendship doesn't need a nation,
It doesn't need a face,
It doesn't need meeting,
It doesn't need space.
I remember long time ago,
I made a Pal,
A Pen Pal over the paper,
When the Net had not ruined,
Our habit of letters.
She was from a distant land
Where the status of Pen,
Was weaker than that of Sword,
But w
e never brought that difference
In our relationship.
She gave me a sense of belonging,
Over the paper which my,
Near land friends could never give,
She gave me a warmth,
Which the warm land never gave me.
But I know,
When my confidence is at the weakest,
She will be my "Last Leaf"
And be there to support me always.
We might never meet,
For the borders are stronger than papers,
But She will remain
My one and only Best Pen Pal.
