My First Love
My First Love
Do I remember the day?
When I sat in my chair
And you pass by
Wreaking havoc with colors
I'd crave, stutter and flinch
To talk and laugh with you
But your grace and smile
turned me into a silent observer
Would it be a crime
if I confess
That I'd stare at those cheeks
Like I'm gonna steal them
But what use would it be
without you
Like the moon without its shine
or the sky without Stars
Napoleon was in pursuit of the world
And so were many other men
But did they ever realize
They only had to reach to you
Now, Should I thank God
For sending an angel to earth
Or curse him
For this deadly intoxication
But did he have a choice?
To keep you only for the heavenly
As destiny is more powerful
You had to be a part of my journey
So the question really is
Will I ever forget that day?
When I saw an angel
Dressed in black and white
But once you're infected
By her heavenly presence
There's no going back
But it isn't worth it either
