Lost was my soul 

In search of the calm,

Wandering the streets

Of chaos in my dream.

As you returned from the sky

On an autumn evening,

I found my soul

But my heart broke free.

There's magic when you're around

And agony when you leave.

But such is the harsh truth of love

And you make it hard to believe.

The night seems desolate

And the stars frown upon me.

As I think of stealing away
