MY DREAMS FOR MY NATION

I wish my country 

To be free from

Racism, communalism and regionalism.

I want my country

To be advanced

Both scientifically and technologically.

Instead of blind faith and fanaticism,

Logic and scientific ideas 

Would prevail my nation.

The India of my dreams

Would be self-sufficient in food,

As it is agriculturally advanced.

I would like my country

To be highly industrialised,

To be strengthened in defence,

To be well equipped in technology.

The India of my dream would be a country

Where every citizen is educated,

Where ignorance and illiteracy is eliminated.
