My Dad
My Dad
There was a big banyan tree, it was really green and grand...
Under the shade of which I played ..slept and sang.
He gave me everything I asked for,
Yet I failed to say him thanks,
On a dense foggy night of December,
Without even a single creak or groan, it sanked
Exposing me to cold and dark, I shivered and felt I would faint...
Years have floated by, have to yet get used to all this pain.....
I miss that Banyan tree, want to hug him ,and lie in its shade once again ...
