A Small Verse Of Love

When my eyes came to rest on you,... my beats were never right,

You were like a celestial star in the dark of night,

And I kept staring at you like an enchanted child with eyes wide, 

And there you flitted and flicked in the air like a heavenly dazzling light,

All eyes were on you, as I thought in my solemn sight.

However, in between you and me was my own taciturnity... 

You were out of my reach like far away in eternity ...

I clasped you in my eyes .. but dreaded to catch your glimpse, 

Owing to the thought of losing you made me jinxed.

But Lord somehow in his tapestry weaved me and you together, was much of kind,

Destiny and him is what made us come entwined,

I want my every stride to be taken with yours.

Together we leave this mortal realm for ethereal shores ...
