MY CUTE AND CUDDLY DOLLS

Every time I draw the curtains, 

On windows, I see smiling faces,

Of course! They are my dolls,

With beautiful dresses and shoes with laces!

 

Some are short, some are tall,

Some are big and some are small,

Some are thin, some are stout,

That’s what it’s all about!

 

Some are my children of Dream and Create,

Some are orators who often have a debate,

Some are police who monitor the city,

Some are archaeologists who understand antiquity! 

 

Named Barbie, Fabiola, Yasmina, Anlily, Preeti,

They are full of joy and full of beauty,

They’re my only companions during this lockdown,

I always keep them safe and sound!

 

Whenever I want to play,

And have a free day,

I run to them and make a story,

Oh! It’s a real glory!
