BOOKS!

I was sitting and listing,

 All the books I want to read. 

My father got me all of them, 

And there was fun in each!

 I turned the pages one by one as I started, 

As if I had just been to another world, transported. 

Enjoyment in books was wholehearted, 

I imagined that I floated! 

All types of stories were there, 

It was unbelievably fair. 

I felt I was reaching the moon, 

On a huge, red, hot air balloon! 

Really? Do you think it was fiction? 

I am sure it is an addiction. 

Adventure, Mystery, Fantasy, Action, 

Books indeed offer a lot of satisfaction
