My Broken Heart

My heart was shattered, 

After she told me,

That she can’t continue, 

And just like that, it was all over.

 

Something that was hard to make, 

Was easily destroyed, 

It was like a drug I took,

It consumed my sanity, 

And left me motionless,

I felt like I am being torn apart.

The shattering of my heart could be heard from miles away,

And my sobbing will make you put on plugs,

My outburst was traumatic, 

With all the pain and anguish, 

I swore to never fall again.
