Motherhood
Motherhood
I have spent the nights sleepless
Mending between duties and responsibilities
I have felt the joy when I was declared
Positive to the motherhood test
As you turn here and there
Playfully in my wombs
Sometimes it were a joy, sometimes angst
Till the hour you were ripe to see the world
I was not the most perfect girl
I knew only I was average
Someone, out of nowhere
Made me his queen till death part
Others may view this kind of life
As or unconventional process
But I want you to know that
Your passing out from wombs to hands
Made me an accomplished woman
From the girl I used to be
When I talk only to about you,
I may be defined as a lunatic
Because our bond, though unseen
Is deeply etched, starting with a cord
That connected us both
To an unconditional love
Incomprehensible to others
Cause you heard me from inside
You knew my pain, you knew me
What makes me special
Is the total faith you have on me
Furthermore I can promise my dedication
All days and nights you will need me
For you will remain, age after age, A part of me
