Mother
Mother
Opened my eyes to a new day,
The gazing sun was throwing its ray,
Wrapped in a cloth so shabby and old,
Lying on the heap of shining sand-like gold.
The scorching heat was soaring,
My cry seemed like a cub's roaring.
Hearing my cry a woman came near,
I was anxious, also had fear.
Wasn't able to speak nor act,
But could understand the woman's heart.
The way she held me up and kissed,
I felt as it was the only thing that I had missed.
She fed me with the nectar so sweet,
It never felt that was thrown and was found from a street,
It is the only love that cannot smother,
The blessing we have is called a "MOTHER."
