Ask an orphan who got smothered,

It's that one who'll never forsake even through lots of troubles.

To call as his/her, it's a warm place of comfort.

There's no place safe like a mother's shelter.

What is the 'Mother'?

Ask a farmer who is on verge of tears,

Drought will consume his mother Earth again; it's all that he fears.

All he wants is to adorn her with fertile gold,

So they'll survive together without being sold.

What is the 'Mother'?

Ask those working on environmental issues,

It's safety of all humanity they want to assure.

It's a flame of life on the verge of dying,

Through toxins mother Earth is crying.

What is the 'Mother'?

Ask a toddler who on each step always stumbles,

Those are hands who support and understand when he mumbles.

It's heartfelt love that makes that child to giggle,

It's never-ending care when through illness he/she struggles.

Thus, 'Mother' can have different forms,

Whatever it'll be, she'll never harm.

Why we keep hurting her so thoughtfully?

Sometimes parching to death... Sometimes sending to old age home intentionally?

Let's protect her from now on,

Say 'no' to harm her in any form.

Let's adorn her with fertile gold and raindrop sound,

For orphans; if possible to help... always be around.
