Mist

Mist

I wish a handful of mist.

Mist, that wraps all!

Follies and incongruities,

That dreadfully bother.

Mist, that drowns!

Drowns all that distract,

Trappings pinfeather.

Mist, that sweeps!

Sweeps selfish ambitions;

Giving souls a breather.

Mist that drifts!

Drifts like a forgotten song

With rains’ patter.

Mist, that dreams!

Dreams of a golden galaxy,

Where stars titter.

Mist that sails!

Sails to a waxing moon,

Emotions atwitter.

I wish a handful of mist.
