Missing

When the busy sun was unveiling the face

Life was triggering its speed to accelerate the pace

To discharge the entrusted responsibility efficiently 

No sorrow, no depression, and no affliction was able to escape the role willingly 

That time was compelling to think of recreation 

As there was no option for free breathing and nourishing the passion

That period had ample missing for ease and refreshment 

As amidst professionalism, I was a dearth of amusement 

But lockdown has extincted all worries and anxieties of life

No stipulation, no deadline, no entrustment, and no strife

But today vast presence of time again has stirred missing for work and profession 

Emptiness has made all impatient and is calling for its mitigation 

So missing is an integral part of life 

Amidst profusions, it emanates grief.
