That is what I feel

Sometimes she screams in my head at night

"You killed him"

She screams

"You killed him"

"Have been standing in line for an hour"

"Where the fuck were you"

"Nobody came"

"Can you bring him back"

"Can you"

I hear her now and then

She was screaming

I still feel numb 

But I am crying 

"This will also pass"

This is what people say

But the truth is most people die in misery

It was his fault someone said

But I am not thinking about his fault

I am astonished

That how people live in a utopia 

By turning a blind eye towards reality 

This poem is about the ongoing struggle, misery and death caused by the second wave of corona virus in India. I suggest that all of us should stay indoors
