Mirage

Mirage of beautiful world, reflecting a fraudulent promise

To nurture and protect me till I flourish;

Disappears as I now parade on the path of truth,

As the hardship rise and perk perish.

Kinsmen thread vanishing its strength,

My footprints are my only companion left.

Rise O true son! Walk over its length,

Identify! Your real comrade will make you deft.

Mount on the chariot of religion,

Trees of Gita, Bible, Kuran will guide you.

Air of ‘Union through action’ will conspicuous your vision,

Sky of your belief will always cover you.

The path of truth is austerity that needs character,

But mirage must be deceiving Ignorant follower.

Reflecting fame for artist and victory for warrior,

Hope for the world and care for the lover.

O Lord! Why mirage exists in world’s scope;

Cause of all dejection, core of all contention,

Making world fight on false hope,

God! Mirage should not be part of your invention.

Look! What has happened to your world,

Why warriors have stopped clashing,

Why love has diminished from world,

Why your sons have commenced capitulating.

O God! What you have done!

Illusion which was moving the world,

Illusion which was inspiring the world,

Eradicated that illusion which was making miracle done.

Path of truth may be more,

But without Mirage world will be no more.
