Life has its own way
Of surprising us,
Giving us a makeover
Over a very short period.

Just like magic
Occurs in instants,
Our destiny,
Too, can change for good.

Long-term yearnings 
Can get fulfilled in a jiff.
And heartfelt prayers
May get answered soon.

Fatal maladies are cured
Devoid of medications,
The struggling aspirants
Turn champions overnight.

Yes, miracles surely happen,
For hoping hearts.
And then, life, too,
Will seem to be a daydream!
