Miles of Mind
Miles of Mind
My mind is going at a million minds an hour,
Screeching to sudden stops at stations
To let stray thoughts on board,
And starting suddenly,
Reaching epic speeds in the blink of an eye,
And thoughts get thrown around,
Bouncing off the walls, the seats,
The floor, each other,
And fly out the window,
Landing on new places,
New fields, new pastures,
Where their philosophies take root,
Joining the jumble
Of other ideas,
Where they join and connect,
To form new, better ideas,
To weave webs with closer knits,
That catch the light
And are strong enough
To let nothing through.
