Maternity Ward

Maternity Ward

How surprising it is,

She kept a hand on her womb,

The baby is kicking inside,

Saying mama, I want to play,

After painful moments,

She listened to the baby's voice,

Tiny tiny eyes,

Hands smoother than flowers,

When she started breastfeeding,

The baby stopped crying,

She felt a whirlpool of thoughts,

How beautiful is experiencing motherhood,

How awesome to end her old identity.

And a new beginning as a responsible mother.

The maternity ward felt joy by sharing her feelings.
