Manmade Jungle

Manmade Jungle

There is no dearth of shameless people,

Waiting to pry on the flesh of the dead.

That is what I thought until I met,

Normal people like me who I did not dread!

They are the same color as me and

They speak the sweet language, but

That is not who they really are... Trust

Me...I am just too wise for my age.

They trick you into doing what you don't

Want to do when you are low. Their

Kindness is fake and it will have an

Imperial blow. Just take care of your glow.

I don't know why I loved them in the first

Place coz' now I repent all that I did. But life

Is a journey and I embrace everything that

Came my way knowing what I am to bid.

A bunch of days and months and

Years I have left behind. Not wanting

To carry any of it ahead. I am content

In this state. I am now clear-headed.

There were some who did the harm and

There were some who helped them and they

All are guilty all alike. My fair eyes cannot

Accept any of 'em. I have accepted the strife.

For who knows who is doing what for what.

Man is the most dreadful animal!

I would rather keep my sanity to myself and

Free myself from this man-made jungle!
