Mandalay Calls

Mandalay Calls

1 min 208 1 min 208

A spec of sunshine,

Collected in drops of dews;

A spec of sunshine,

In you I find my muse.

My heart floats;

When you smile my way.

In the pockets of my coat;

I find a letter from Mandalay.

A farewell expected,

Who is to say;

Love unreciprocated,

At night alone I lay.

Mandalay awaits me,

My new found bread and butter.

I wonder if you'd miss me;

Hoping I'm not just a piece of clutter.

Farewell, farewell;

My oblivious muse.

All is well, all is well!

To me; an excuse.
