A complex emotion with different meaning

Butterflies in the belly for a normal human being

Study of chemicals for a scientific misfit

From endorphins to testosterone he will just name it

Ideal love depicted in fairy tale and movies

Reality can be deceiving and far from it

Nothing will stop people from experiencing it

Confused prefer loving animals, that's it?

Most emulate animals in love, practical isn't it?

Rest are busy experimenting and redefining it

Hypocrites making rules to contain it

Looks like I am stuck in the middle of it

Trying hard to see where best I can fit

As I have been in and out of it

Is it hurt or trust I am scared off to resume?

Or am I daring at dependency and lust, I presume

Have I given up on this society and life?

In lieu of contentment, philosophy and spirituality

Answer won't unfurl unless I take my first step

Hesitating like the shy school kid

I have started school again which I can't quit
