Once more in my life

From a certain distant settlement

A blue tempest bird

Came fluttering

And dwelt.

The bird, in the middle of my heart,

Built up a house, a beautiful one,

Built up a garden, built up a temple

And, invited me home in an evening.

Turned up the light, lit the incense stick

The home became resplendent

Became fragrant

I was overwhelmed

Tears dripped off my eyes.

He took me to the garden

Got me touched by flowers

Got me touched by him

I transformed into a flower

I transformed into him.

Subsequently I started to dream

He had changed into me

I had changed into him.

Woke up from my dream

He got frightened

And fluttering flew away

In the same way

As he had come

All of a sudden.

I was emptied

And was lonely again.
