You walked in the room to stay,

At least that's what I thought 

The next moment everything seemed lost

For a brief moment everything seemed relief

Followed by keen solitude and immense grief

We started the journey on Friday

You made me believe you'll stay

It's been a glorious ride

Which seemed like a tide

You made the word 'love' sound so cliche 

And I'm left alone at the end of the day

I'll be locked in your heaven

And only the dead can be forgiven

What a way to be living with your pain

From which there's nothing to gain

From loving the most of you 

To just seeing the ghost of you

We met our end 

And I just couldn't comprehend

The journey started and ended on friday

It was so easy for you to look away

Searching for you through the window

The search was over

Even tho I was sober

A part of us died that I discover

The funeral left a cold breeze behind

I saw her after the fall
