Love over Hate!

We live in a world where hate rules over us. 

Even though all the teachers teach love, 

Even though all the religions preach love, 

Still consciously or unknowingly we choose hate over love. 

Oh, how we love to hate and hate to love! 

Because we think love makes us vulnerable, 

And hate makes us invincible.

But, do you ever realize how lonely you become

When you keep hating on others?

Happiness is all that we seek, 

But usually forget that love is the seed of happiness. 

From cyber bullying to hate speech to mockery, 

All we do is keep spreading hatred and search for happiness. 

Let us all, particularly the youth

Start propagating love and shun hatred. 

Because happiness blooms where love thrives, 

And the more love you give, the more you receive. 

Practice the religion of love and you'll be amazed

By the difference that it creates in you, 

Making your life brighter and more meaningful - a life worth living.
