Love Is Love - A Divergent Engagement

All said love was to do with humans,

But this little girl did know what she was up to,

Sports – her lifeline, her timeline

She declared what love was for her,

She screamed that love is playing every game;

As if it were your last.

As she grew she did fall in love with humans as well,

But it all soon ended up with heartbreaks

That was when she decided to clinch up to sports

Sports only gave her learning

No more heartbreaks

Only levelling up her standards

Yes, she failed miserably sometimes,

She did think of giving up on her Olympic Dream as well

But the tears that she shed that time told her don't me dear, ill be yours one day.

She engaged herself in sports

And believed it to be her best decision

Went on earning Gold without the need for a husband

Sports was her lifeline, her heartbeat

Others laughed at her for falling in love with sports

While she laughed at them for riding the cycle of relationships and heartbreaks

Sports took up the place of her life partner

And she could not ask for any better

She was the most happily married wife in the world

[Her concept of love was surely vivid

But she knew the worth of love,

She gave a new meaning to love as well as her existence.
