Love in Violence
Love in Violence
Did you ever fight love from spreading in your body?
You clutch your fists hard trying not to let it in,
To not let your scream out.
Your face flashes red,
You can feel your temperature rising,
You see a montage of him, see him smiling,
Like a drug being injected which spreads in your body
And down your spine,
Beads of perspiration appears,
Your body all clutched so heavily and your breathing so loud.
Slowly it falls loose.
A sigh.
You open your eyes, staring blankly at the ceiling above,
Cold and empty,
You turn to the person sleeping next to you,
Unaware of the battle you just fought,
As you chose to stay empty and quiet,
Like a forgotten house at the corner of the lake,
Overlooking all the lushness and life around,
But choosing to stay away.
