Lost Independence

I often dream when will we get real independence

When will we get independence from fear

Real freedom and every eye without a tear

When will we get independence

From our dependence

When will we get independence from our greed

And learn to respect every religion and creed

When will our minds be free from guilt 

And we live peacefully in houses we built

When will we be free from pollution

We need to think and find a solution

When will we learn to live together

And put in everyone's cap a feather

When will we learn not to hate

And not be jealous of anyone's fate

When will we have a world full of love

A world full of peace

A world of respect

And a secure and safe world
