Lost In A Book

I opened the book and drowned completely into an ocean of words,

My ears grew larger, and anonymous sounds were heard.

Different people stated as 'characters',

Who are not created by god, but by people called Authors.

John Snow, Hercule Poirot, Albus Dumbledore,

Picking one, and wishing to read more and more.

Incredible author with an incredible story,

Each one of them having something inventory.

J.K. Rowling, Ruskin Bond, Agatha Christie,

Every genre is lit- be it adventure or mystery.

A world where you live more than you think,

An adventurous and peaceful place to dive in.

I cannot leave it once I've picked it up,

Cannot even move from an inch, as my fantasy belts are buckled up.

There is something magical in books that I'm reading,

They are always the stress busters I'm needing.

The feeling of getting lost in a book for the first time,

And this is where I finish the rhyme.
