Lost For Lust

Passion changes everything,

But in the end, we've nothing.

We know, it is the worst desire,

Sill we eagerly want to acquire.

Too much of everything is bad for health,

Similarly, lust in excess can damage yourself.

Love and lust are two sides of a coin,

I went for lust and gained the pain.

Love is a deep feeling of affection,

And lost is an overwhelming physical attraction.

 In lust, we make mistakes and get pleasure,

We don't think of it though there lies the danger.

It is like a drug that makes us addicted,

I become its prey and I admit.

Lust plants fire in your heart,

Just ignore it if you are smart.

In lust, you forget the shame and engage in sex,

The end of your story seems like Oedipus Rex.

Lust can turn to anger when it is rejected,

It is at its best when you are accepted.

You can leave wine but not lust,

So get ready to pay its cost.

Beauty catches attention, the character catches heart,

I fell in lust and lost my art.
