You came to me with a smile

turning me blind

winning me over

head over heels

Liked all you did

reinvented myself to suit you

each time you demanded

Loved intensely the moments

spent with you

Each night in the longing

for the day to follow

And all images from the era

deeply engraved

Didn’t have a thought

wrong about you

and never uttered a word

which you won't like
