Losing hope

With a solemn oath,

With his affirming eyes,

He looked at her,

Rubbing her chafed cheeks,

She smiled bleakly,

As she was held tight,

With those man-hunting savages,

She lost hope in humanity,

To take possession only of his true heart,

As it skipped it's last beat.
