Lil Worm

Lil Worm

1 min
99

I met him at the rooftop,

Small and snuggly,

And I named him "lil worm",

He walked as if he doesn't care for me,

I tried to get his attention,

But he didn't mind me,

I offered him my fingers,

And he looked offended,

What about some greeny?

I plucked the new leaf of my creeper,

Placed before him,

Left him alone for hours,

Only returned back to see the leaf left alone.

He left the place telling me,

Not to decide his life,

I may walk and run and sleep,

Who are you to interfere with?

Should I be happy that,

He decided to live his life,

Or should I be sad,

That my offer was declined.

As he walked away from my life.

I was left with a question,

Which was left unanswered!
