Light in Midnight

Light in Midnight

Dates in my calendar keep going on.

My hearts aches for you, still alone,

Without you sitting by my side.

Without you picking up baseless fights.

Those pills in your drawer still cursing me.

Holding me your prisoner, never setting free.

You whispered soft cries for help.

You drew with silver, turned it red.

But my eyes, eyes too blinded to see.

Burying you in your own debris.

Your blood had more darkness than blood itself.

I'd kill to have another chance, to offer help.

I will bring moon at your doorstep.

Just to pull you out from your hell.

You mainlined midnight, in search of escape.

You bathed in acheron, sold yourself to Hecate.

But you see she was full of magic too.

This world might be evil, it's magical too.

A little light flickers, even in midnight.

Even in dark, there is always a little moonlight.

And I want to fill your gown in million stars.

So you can shine through your cracks and scars.

Sadly, you're too far away to be brought back.

Rain on me, light me through sky's cracks.

But I promise I'll hear other's whimpers.

Another life won't fall into despair.

And I shall make peace with your blades and pills.

Though, to have you back I'd still kill.
