Sailing in the ocean of birds yes, it smiled at you

But you need me to remind that, you were

   Busy being colour blind.

 

The rooftop of your home, you haven’t visited in ages was calling out your name on Christmas night.

It wanted to give you a flashback of memories you created.

 But you need me to remind,

  That you were just busy being frustrated.

 

The broken brushes and dry paints in the drawer,

They all kept staring at the white walls,

Wished someone could have

 smelt those incomplete drawings. 

 But you need me to remind that you were

Busy buying assets and lending borrowings.

 

The white lily in your backyard garden, you watered daily before taking bath,

 have lost their fragrance and died.

Yes they kept calling you

 just to kiss them with your nose

But you need me to remind you,

That you were busy being perfect from head to toes.

 

Your entire life my boy, you kept living for others

Chasing people and not your dreams, dressing for them

And forget about your likes and dislikes.

Today, you are in the evening of your life,

With grey head and regretting your betrayal

But you need me to remind you that

Life after death in a coffin can’t be portrayal.
