Life's A Play
Life's A Play
This twenty-four hour drama,
Played daily by us,
Has a silent monologue,
One of overthinking,
Where memory and imagination,
Rule our reality,
Where past and future,
Dictate our present,
And we keep repeating,
This play every day,
In sleep and wakefulness,
Not realizing how time slips,
Like grains of sand.
Rise early, and stop brooding,
Act and live the moment,
Before the plays ends forever,
Make it worth watching.
