Life Of A Tree

A seed in the soil and some water it will need,

Some days later a little plant comes out to breathe.

Now your care is needed for them to last,

Nurturing them right makes them grow so fast.

Within no time, the little plant becomes a tree,

Now it will sustain itself, and you are almost free.

God has made trees for a reason,

They purify the air and give us oxygen

On both sides of roads, they stand in lines,

Mahoganys, peepals, neems, and pines.

Birds take shelter and make their nest,

Fruits to eat, they choose the best.

In the scorching heat, they give us cool breeze.

Don’t cut them let’s protect the trees.

They were here even before man’s birth,

Trees are the lifeline of earth.
