Life After Covid

One day we shall overcome the pandemic again,

Leaving behind the bitter memories of pain.

All the normal human activity will resume,

No obstacle will come in the way, we presume.

But the monster left a scar in our mind,

Nonetheless, it will be blown away by the wind.

Children again will go to school and play in the ground,

Adults once more will be busy and move around.

Though lakhs of people lost their precious lives,

But after a long dark tunnel will appear ray of lights.

All the covid warriors fought the battle gallantly,

Who made our lives look so easy, selflessly.
