Sweet Revenge

The worst feeling

now I am having is-

I have been used to and lied to

It has injured heart, crippled soul

and stabbed body beyond repair

perhaps time was not right

or the stars in the constellation

hinted at villany

and I was unable to navigate wicked mind

at the cusp of night

but I am glad 

a subtle awakening has embraced me

I am able to sniff your cruel mind

your betrayal blossomed 

on my misplaced trust and flourished

I was innocent and could not recognise

no more shall I nurse this grudge

with sweet revenge shall settle the score

I shall pen a soothing verse

else shall quill...

an enchanting yet gripping prose

to tender justice 

to my heart wrenching story.
