Ma..

I must have uttered this word,

A million times.

Yet, with every thought of yours

Tears roll down my eyes

And the lips curve into a smile.

I wonder how in reflex

I recall you in every pain and joy.

For me,

You are not someone

I can pen down in a few lines,

The scribbled lines on this page, know better.

Your love is like 

The breeze under moonlit sky,

Peaceful.

And the touch of your hands, warm

Just like the morning sun.

You are that rhythm of music

That helps me live with hopes high.

Ma..I don't remember, 

The first time i held your fingers.

But I do remember

How in my every fall,

You drew me close and hugged me.

In the past years, 

Miles increased.

Yet, with just the utter of your name

Tears blur my vision

I miss the warm soft touch of yours 

The pats on my back

And on my arrivals,

 the way your face lightens up

With a broad smile.

"Do you miss me?"
