Last From The Rebel
Last From The Rebel

I see a rope hanging in front of me,
And a massive crowd had gathered.
The city in ruins and under the debris
Of the fallen dreams that had shattered.
As the night falls and the sun drowns into the sea,
The stars rise and I rise with them.
Who captured the city which was once free,
We will remember them, we will remember them.
A six year old kid with a bullet in his head,
A mother in her room praying five times a day
A father of two who is declared long dead
And a sister of mine who has been taken away.
Stones being thrown, bullets being shot,
In a split second you witness a mayhem
Those who caused our paradise to rot
We will remember them, we will remember them.
As the bullets gain victory over stones,
And rivers of blood flows through the valley,
The streets will cry and the mountains will mourn,
Against this organised sally.
I have
my face covered and my hoodie on,
And a stone in my hand for my own brethren,
Who maimed us to make us their pawns
We will remember them, we will remember them.
How many will you shoot? How many will you break?
I'll have thousands behind me with vengeance in their eyes,
You face the monster you yourself make,
You plundered and raped our beautiful paradise.
We stand again and clench our fists,
Hold our grounds against them,
Who made her wish for a grave she could kiss,
We will remember them, we will remember them.
Though I see a rope hanging in front of me,
And a massive crowd being gathered.
For our city is in ruins and under the debris
Of the fallen dreams that had shattered.
As the night falls and the sun drowns into the sea,
The stars rise and I rise with them.
Who captured the city which was once free,
We will remember them, we will remember them.
