Children Of God

We are just children,

Turned into warriors,

Made a human shield

Forced to play soldiers

With no happy ending

We are no fighters,

Coerced to fight for a cause 

No one can win

Enforced us with false promises,

Inescapable by the wrath of terrorism 

We are children

With no education & no dreams

No friends and no family,

It's our fault 

To be born in such a state

We are the children of God

Left in this world

Like a lamb, waiting to be slaughtered
