 music   hidden   dance   spin   twirl   swirl   lastdance 

Why must I prove myself,- when you've hidden, -amongst darkest hours


Caught in this trance,- lost in swirls


Twirl,- as we danced


Each step taken,- lead by you


The music stops, -yet we spin


Round and round


My feet,- once flat


Tip toed


As my body,- swung


Around,- swung around__ by the lead


Struggling to keep balanced


As he steps upon my feet


With each step,- my heart sinks


Crippled, it bleeds


    skipping beats


I was led,- taken by the lead


    This dance asked of me__

____the music stopped,- So

I had to leave.


          Last dance.
